LAST CALL!For data forms Thank you to all who have returned their completed dataforms to us, so that we can keep up-to-date with everyone. This will be a great support to the new incumbent when he or she comes, and also helps Dean Ansley and the Pastoral Care team stay informed and on top of parishioners' status and circumstances. If you haven't yet submitted your information form yet, or perhaps lost or misplaced it, for your convenience, you will be receiving a call in the next few days from either Nancy Paxton, Sara Baker or Dean Ansley, so we can support you in getting your information updated. We hope to have everyone's current information very soon! Many thanks to Lanny Hubbard and Helen Love who have worked hard in the background re-vamping and re-programming our whole database system so that is more efficient, detailed amd able to serve the Parish better. |

Quiet Garden
The first meeting of the Quiet Garden Planning group was held yesterday, and was a great success with several enthusiastic people in attendance sharing their ideas, suggestions and exciting possibilities. *If you would like to be part of the planning group, there's still time to join and contribute your inspirations and wisdom! Connect with Lanny Hubbard for how to participate. We are now live on the Quiet Garden Website: St. Michael & All Angels Church (Victoria) Quiet Garden - The Quiet Garden Movement |

We're live!Services in real time The A/V team has been working to improve the audio-video sync. I know the last few weeks have been difficult to watch with the voices and mouths not lining up. Hopefully, this week will be closer to being right on track. Each week we provide a new link posted here in the newsletter, so please make sure you watch this space for the latest link to attend the service live. HERE is the link to tune in this SUNDAY And don't worry- If you missed the service last Sunday, you can still catch the recording (scroll down to the section below: "Sunday Services at St Michael's" and click on: "Watch the Service here."). |

Sunday Services at St Michael and All Angels
Our Sunday 8:30am service is shaped by the 1962 Book of Common Prayer. The lilt and rhythm of old English finds its way into this liturgy, and some beautiful turns of phrase illuminate this service where there is no music. While the service itself is quiet, regular attendees are lively, friendly and very welcoming. Our Sunday 10:30am service, shaped by the Book of Alternative Services, includes music and more contemporary language and images for understanding God. This service is normally recorded and available for view on Sunday afternoon on the website. Watch the most recent service HERE For more infomation visit: https://www.stmikevictoria.ca/podcasts/services/2025-08-03-eighth-sunday-after-pentecost |
