Wow! Wow! Wow! What a difference a couple of dozen willing hands and hearts can make in such a short time! Our clean up work party last Saturday was a bigger success than anticipated, with a total of 55 bins of nature's debris being raked up and carted away, leaving beautiful fresh, tidy grounds around the church. If you haven't had the chance for a good look, make sure you do next Sunday! Many thanks to all who came with rakes and gloves and (new) brooms to get the job done! 

Hold the date! Our education committee is sponsoring a free community talk on 'Water' with Zoe Cilliers of the CRD, Friday, June 26, 1.30 - 3.00 pm.

It's almost here! You've been waiting all year and, yes, June 28, will be Sundae Sunday! Ice cream, sprinkles, fruit toppings and more... Join us right after the 10:30 am service. Everyone is welcome!

If you haven't submitted your information form for our database update yet, please take less than 5 minutes to do so. It really helps us to serve you and each parishioner better.

When completed, simply drop it in the rectory mailbox or through the mailslot in the office door, in the envelope provided.

We hope to have everyone updated in our database system very soon, so please do your best to get yours in.

Now that we are officially a part of the international Quiet Garden Movement, and our grounds have been tidied and preparted, we want your ideas for creating a beautiful place of peace, comfort and contemplation, that will draw people to St. Michaels from near and far.

The A/V team has been working to improve the audio-video sync. I know the last few weeks have been difficult to watch with the voices and mouths not lining up.  Hopefully, this week will be closer to being right on track.

Our Sunday 8:30am service is shaped by the 1962 Book of Common Prayer. The lilt and rhythm of old English finds its way into this liturgy, and some beautiful turns of phrase illuminate this service where there is no music. While the service itself is quiet, regular attendees are lively, friendly and very welcoming.

Our Sunday 10:30am service, shaped by the Book of Alternative Services, includes music and more contemporary language and images for understanding God. This service is normally recorded and available for view on Sunday afternoon on the website.
