It's that time again...Flu Season is upon us Cold and Flu Season will be soon upon us. As much as we like to see full attendance, we like it even better when our friends take care of themselves (and keep their germs at home.) In the meantime, our normal protocols for receiving communion remain in place: the chalice will be offered to every communicant. If you prefer not to receive, please simply touch the base of the chalice, or say “Amen” as it is offered to you. Dipping the host in the wine is not permitted, as this has been proved to be the least sanitary of all options. Our Church teaches that receiving either the host or the chalice conveys the full benefit of the sacrament. – MAT |

Oh No!No Coffee! Oh, no! Please note, there will be no coffee after the 10.30 service this Sunday. Sadly, it is increasingly difficult to find enough volunteers to provide this ministry on a weekly basis. We know that the parish deeply values this opportunity to spend time together, but we also know it’s not fair to depend upon the same small group of people to cover every gap. If you could take this on once every four to six weeks, please speak to Stan Willow, Helen Love, Brian Goddard or Dean Ansley. Training can be provided! – MAT |

Sunday Services at St Michael and All Angels
Our Sunday 8:30am service is shaped by the 1962 Book of Common Prayer. The lilt and rhythm of old English finds its way into this liturgy, and some beautiful turns of phrase illuminate this service where there is no music. While the service itself is quiet, regular attendees are lively, friendly and very welcoming. Our Sunday 10:30am service, shaped by the Book of Alternative Services, includes music and more contemporary language and images for understanding God. This service is normally recorded and available for view on Sunday afternoon on the website.
