St Michael's contributes to a Bursary at Camosun College for students in financial need who have persevered in their education despite significant personal, financial, social or institutional challenges.
Money is raised through the return of recyclable drink containers. Containers may be left in the large brown collection box in the church parking lot. These are returned weekly by our "Bottle Divers" crew to a local Return-It depot, for credit to our "Project Upgrade" account. Alternatively, anyone may take their return directly to Return-It, and cite our account number, which is 185.
The carving of the hummingbird pictured above was a gift to St. Michael's from a recipient of this bursary.
