Trash Matters
The education committee is pleased to present an important, informative, educational and entertaining session on Trash and why managing it conscientiously should matter to all of us. Kayla Siefried, Site Manager, the Victoria Compost Education Centre and Avril Gilmour Ford, CRD Environmental Services Education Liaison, will share with us the latest information on what we as individuals can do to better manage our Trash and protect our environment. Learn about garbage contamination issues; which plastics are compostable; water protection and drinking water info; recycling; ways to reduce waste and much more.
