Please sign up for our Lenten Study Program – Lent is traditionally a time for paying extra attention to prayer, and for intentional learning. This year we are offering “Five Wednesdays in Lent: The Church in the Shadow of Empire.”
The plan is to meet for a short service of Evening Prayer at 4.30 p.m., followed by a soup supper, and then a conversation based on Preston Sprinkle’s very readable book, Exiles: the Church in the Shadow of Empire. We’ll wind up by 7.00 p.m. at the latest each week.
We do need to order copies of the book, so if you are interested, please sign the sheet posted in the narthex, or be in touch with Sara our parish administrative assistant (Admin@stmikevictoria.ca). The book costs $17.
