Study Group

Our study group is a lively, thoughtful bunch. We gather on Wednesday mornings for coffee or tea and discuss a wide variety of theological, biblical and liturgical topics. We are always open to new members and enjoy the perspectives they add to our conversations. Books we’ve studied include Joan Chittister’s The Friendship of Women, Walter Brueggemann’s Praying the Psalms, J. Philip Newell’s Listening for the Heartbeat of God, and Holy Envy by Barbara Brown Taylor.

Starting on 27th November the group will be reading Living Well Through Advent 2019 Practicing Peace With All Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind.  It is available FREE in hard copy at St. Michael's and digitally at the Living Compass website https://shop.livingcompass.org/co…/advent-and-lent-resources

A Living Compass Seasonal Resource designed for use as an individual reflection or for group study, this daily devotional provides a foundation for seeking a deeper experience of Advent, that will help us prepare our hearts to make room anew for Christ.
